Dr. Laura Appleby grew up in Prince George, BC. She graduated with honours from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science in June 2025 and started practicing here in Canmore upon graduating. She is very excited to be a part of the spectacular team at Viewpoint.
Dr. Laura is passionate about all things optometry and loves getting to interact with patients of all ages. One of her goals is to make every child's exam as much fun as possible. She also loves managing disease, and emergency cases, and getting to educate each individual about their specific eye care needs.
When she isn't working, Dr. Laura loves spending time in the mountains skiing, backpacking, hiking, and swimming in lakes wherever possible.
