Jessi is originally from Brantford, Ontario. She attended St. Johns College with her studies focused on health care. Jessi made the move to Canmore in 2021 and started at Viewpoint later that same year. She works as an optometric assistant, with an array of duties day-to-day. Jessi holds down the fort on the front end with administrative duties, she completes the preliminary testing before our patients see their Optometrist. She also does Visual Field and OCT testing, assists with Ophthalmologist Dr. McWhae, and organizing and assisting our on site retina clinic in partnership with Calgary Retina Consultants. Jessi is also a Certified Ocular Hygienist who offers in-office treatments for demodex, blepharitis and pre-operative cleaning.
When not working, Jessi loves to get out and enjoy the beautiful place that we live. She enjoys hiking, rock climbing, ice climbing, paddle boarding, and spending time with her beautiful dog Milli.
